Everybody draws inspiration from music, well me too.
But the difference is the kind of music I listen to. When friends go through my play list, they end up saying sad music! I would not say western influence has got their world spinning around because the European influence has got me spinning too. But they find new age sad! That’s what bothers me.
There are few who know what new age is. Well, it is food to my soul. Any song with a new age element keeps me going, be it House, Club, Trance or Psytrance. I relate my music to people; music describes the kind of person you are. It reflects your thoughts, traits, beliefs and the qualities you like to be surrounded by.
All of us have a favourite song we like to listen to, every single damn day without fail. Now-a-days, my morning begins with this one particular song and ends with it too. I feel an adrenaline rush through my body. It’s like a stimulant, my head absorbs, making me listen to it, the words, the voice and the music is like races down to my legs, my toes making them numb, transcending into rapture. Finally a dead end and I surrender.
"I feel you...
In every stone
In every leaf of every tree
You´re ever grown
(That you ever might have grown)
I feel you...
In every thing
In every river that might flow
In every seed you might have sown
I feel you...
In every rain
In every beating of my heart
Each breath I take
(In every breath I’ll ever take)
I feel you...
Anyway...
In every tear that I might shed
In every word I’ve never said
I feel you..."
- Schiller feat. Peter Heppner (Leben)
